With equal eloquence, he has, on a number of
occasions, given inspiration to the Jewish Community
of Detroit in our efforts for the Israel Bond Drive as well
as for our Allied Jewish Campaign. Minister Eban, who
is also president of the world esteemed Weizmann Insti-
tute of Science at Rehovoth, Israel, returns to us on
Monday evening, November 26th, in the grand ballroom
of Cobo Hall as guest of honor at the Israel Bond Dinner
which will be the last major Israel Bond event preceding
the redemption, next May, of the Independence Issue
which Abba Eban helped launch in 1951.
We join the call to our community to respond "with
the greatest devotion to Abba Eban's appeal for our con-
tinued and intensified support of the Israel Bond cause.
