The Family of the Late JERUSALEM, (JTA)—Hanan Rubin, a deputy speaker of the Knesset, and a member of the House since 1949, died Oct. 24 at the age of 54. Born in Germany, Rubin set- tled in Palestine in 1933 and became active in the Hashomer Hatzair, the Mapam youth move- ment, and, after the establish- ment of the State, he became a Mapam Knesset member. He had been a delegate to a mem- ber of the World Zionist Con- gresses. Mrs. Sara Kahn Dies Zionist-Revisionist Leader Franco Dies NEW YORK, (JTA) — Funer- al services were held today for Reuben D. Franco, executive director of the Zionists-Revision- ists of America, who died here Oct. 27. He w as 54. He had re- turned from a three-week visit to Israel. A native of Bulgaria, Franco headed the Betar movement in that country before emigrating to Palestine in 1939.
