Mr. and Mrs. Herman R.
Gross of Flushing, N. Y., an-
nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Margaret Lotti, to Dr.
Robert Alan Bloom, son of Dr.
and Mrs. Albert Bloom of De-
troit.
The bride-elect is a bachelor
of education graduate of Queens
College in New York and a
member of Iota Alpha Pi soror-
ity. Her fiance attended Wayne
State University and was affil-
iated with Kappa Nu fraternity.
He is a graduate of the WSU.
College of Medicine and a mem-
ber of Phi Delta Epsilon fra-
ternity. He is interning at
Mount Zion Hospital, San Fran-
cisco.
A Dec. 15 wedding is planned
at the Forest Hills Jewish Cen-
ter, Forest Hills, N. Y.

Social Singles Square
Dance Set for Sunday

square dance 8:30 p.m. Sunday

Adolph ,Spiro and Mrs. Dorothy
G. Turkel.
Sapir, who was born in Po-
land in 1907 and settled in
Palestine in 1929, served as
director-general of the Ministry
of Finance from 1953 to 1955.
He is credited with having over-
hauled Israel foreign exchange
and consolidating its foreign
loans. He was appointed to his
present post in 1955, and was
elected to the Knesset in 1959.
Dickenstein was a pioneer
laborer in Palestine from 1921.
1924 before playing a part in
the country's financial history
through several important po-
sitions. He founded the AMPAL
American Israel Corporation in
1941 and has been its president

leased by Morris Lieberman,
chairman and d i r e c tor of
AMPAL. On the Detroit com-
mittee are Dr. Sol C. Gross-
