LOUIS BERRY

In every aspect of communal
work, in all efforts in behalf of
Israel, on a score of local, na-
tional and overseas fronts, the
name of Louis Berry figures
prominently in Jewish leader-
ship.
On his 60th birthday, which
he observed on Wednesday, he
was the recipient of many mes-
sages of good will, attesting to
the esteem in which he is held
by his hundreds of associates.
Marking his birthday, his chil-
dren, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Berry and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey
G. (Selma) Snider, were hosts

Berry's many local friends and
associates in business and com-

tunity to greet him on the im-
portant birthday.
Mr. Berry is not only one of
the country's leading Jewish
personalities who has served on
many national boards: he holds

the president of International

continuing his communally
devoted efforts uninterrupt-

Born in Liverpool, England,
Oct. 10, 1902, he came to this
country at the age of 20 in 1922.
He was married in 1924 to the
