servance of 'Sabbath and Yom
Kippur, which begins sundown
Sunday, have been announced
by the following synagogues:
CONG. MISHKAN ISRAEL:
Sabbath services 5:50 p.m. to-
day and 8:45 a.m. Saturday.
Rabbi Stollman will speak on
"T'shuvah." Kol Nidre services
at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Yom Kip-
pur services at 7:30 a.m. Mon-
day. Rabbi Stollman's Kol Nidre
topic will be "May We For-
give?" On Yom Kippur he will
speak on "Our Great Heritage"
and "Oh, G-d, Open Our Gates!"
ADAS SHALOM SYNA-
GOGUE: Sabbath services at
6 p.m. today and 8:45 a.m. Sat-
urday. Kol Nidre services at
5:45 p.m. Sunday. Yom Kippur
services at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Rabbi Segal will speak on "Wit-
nesses for G-d and Israel."
Rabbi Fritz Rothschild of the
Jewish Theological Seminary
will speak on "Two Who Re-
turned." Cantor Fenakel and
Rev. Larry Vieder will chant
the liturgy, assisted by choirs
under the direction of Harry
Siegel and Maury Lax. Youth
services will be held for jun-
iors 10-14); Kvutza cong. (8-10)
and for high school age youth.
All three will be under the
direction of Noam Shudofsky,
youth education director.
TEMPLE EMANUEL: At
Sabbath services 8:15 p.m. to-
day, Rabbi Rosenbaum will
speak on "The Holiest of
Sabbaths." The Bas Mitzvah
of Nancy F. Robins will be
observed. Yom Kippur Eve
services will begin at 8:15
p.m. Sunday. Rabbi Rosen-
baum will speak on "Why
Are We Afraid to Believe?"
At services 9:30 a.m. Monday,
Rabbi Rosenbaum will speak
on "Reluctant Jonahs." Mrs.
Nathaniel Gold will direct the
choir. Children's services will
be held at 1:30 p.m., pre-
sided over by Max Rosen-
berg, educational director,
and Albert Miller, religious
school committee chairman.
Yizkor services at 4 p.m. Mrs.
Albert M. Stutz will direct
the youth choir.
BETH AARON SYNA-
GOGUE: Sabbath services 6:30
p.m. today and 8:30 a.m. Sat-
urday. Kol Nidre will be ob-
served at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
Rabbi Gorrelick will speak on
"The Eternal Light of Faith."
Yom Kippur services at 8:30
a.m. Monday. Rabbi Gorrelick
will speak on "The Solid Foun-
dation of the Past." Youth serv-
ices will be held for teenagers
at 5:45 p.m. Sunday and 10:30
a.m. Monday in the Jewish Cen-
ter. Harry Goldstein and Cantor
Arky Berkal will officiate. Tzvi
Berkal and Albert Kaplan will
supervise. Youth services for
10-12 will be held at Plumber's
Hall, 17606 Wyoming, and for
(7-9) in the synagogue's small
chapel. Bernard Panush will
supervise these services.

Bar Mitzvah of Charles Ganl.z
will be observed. Kol Nidre

ance of the adult male quartet
and the boys' choir directed by

auxiliary services will be con-
ducted by Irving Schlussel and
Cantor Shimon Berris, simul-
taneously. with the main sanc-
tuary schedule. Four youth
services for boys and girls, 4-
17, will be held in assigned sec-
tions of the synagogue building
under trained supervision.
