Four University of Michigan students have been named recipi- ents of Alvin M. Bentley Foundation scholarships for 1962-63. All first-year U-M students, the four are Jon William Danielson, High- land Park; Alvin R. Jaffin, 24061 Ithaca, Oak Park; Samuel Broder, 24070 Oneida, Oak Park, and Dorothy Ciufetelli, Dearborn. Selec- tion of the individual recipients was made by the U-M Scholarship Committee, and the awards were approved by Bentley Foundation trustees. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Shapiro recently returned from a trip to visit members of their family in Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Louisville and Indianapolis. Roth, of Church Road, Oak Park, has returned from a several days' stay in Seattle, Wash., where he visited with friends and spent much time at the World's Fair.
