The grand ballroom of the
Warwick Hotel in Philadelphia
was the setting for the Aug. 12
wedding of Maxine Jane Bob-
man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel S. Bobman of iVierion,
Pa., to Lawrence K. Snider, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Snider of
Detroit. The ceremony was per-
formed by Rabbi Yaakov G. Ros-
enberg.
The bride wore a gown of heir-
loom Brussels lace. Her illusion
veil was attached to a cap of
matching lace and she carried a
Bible, adorned with white spray
orchids and stephanotis.
Judith Snider of Detroit, was
maid of honor, and Mrs. Herbert
Bobman of Haverford, Pa., was
matron of honor.
Herbert Bobman, brother of
the bride, served as best man.
Ushers were Danny Buchalter,
Steven Jaffee, Howard Shapiro
and Steven Levinson.
The bride attended the Sor-
bonne in Paris and is now in the
School of Architecture and De-
sign at the University of Mich-
igan. The bridegroom is in his
senior year at the U. of M. Law
School.
After a honeymoon in Mexico,
the couple are now residing in
Ann Arbor.
