THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS — Friday, September 21, 1962 — 22 `Miss Israel' to Star in Women's Bond Division Dior-Israel Festival "Miss Israel of 1962" Nurit Neuman. 18, will be the guest artist at the Dior-Israel Fashion Festival Champagne Dinner- Dance 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Knolli,vood Country Club. The collection will feature 11 originals created by the House of Dior as a salute to Israel. The creations will be - of Israeli fabrics. Also to be shown will be 22 costumes designed by Israel's leading couturiers, including loomed fabrics by Maskit, main- ly designed by Finy Leiters- dorf, furs by the houses of Stefan Braun and Neulander; knitwear by Aled and Elanit, and couture-type beach ensem- bles by Gottex. The Israeli fa- brics being used by Dior were designed by Maski, Yaglom and Isser Greenfield and Sons. The Dior-Israel collection had its world premiere in France in the mansion of Baron Edmond de Rothschild, European presi- dent of the Israel Bond Organi- zation.
