U.S. Allocates Funds to Feed Arab Refugees

WASHINGTON, (JTA) — The
United States government has an-
nounced allocation of $16,400,000
under the food-for-peace program
for the Palestinian Arab Refu-
The program, designated for
fiscal year 1963, will be admin-

istered by the UNRWA in Jor-
dan, Lebanon, Syria, and the
Gaza Strip. The allocation in-
volves 95,000 metric tons of flour
valued at $13,400,000. The flour
will be provided by the Depart-
ment of Agriculture.
