Ircd Hark Cohen
Mr. and Mrs. Sy Grant (Gerry Kaminsky) and children
Steve, Ricky and Nancy. formerly of 14016 Pembroke. are now
residing in their new home at 21463 Brixton Dr., Southfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Dann shortened their planned prolonged
stay in Israel and returned to Detroit this week.
Lynn Ann Metzger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Metzger •
of Huntington Woods, has returned home after spending the
summer as an exchange student at Bedum, Holland.
Recently returned from Europe are Edye Louise and
Leonard (Buzzie) Wachter, children of the Norman G. Wachlers.
The children spent the summer with their grandparents. the
David Wachlers, vacationing and visiting schools in Italy, Switzer-
land, France and Cologne.
Honeymooning on the West Coast and Hawaii are Mr. and
Mrs. Samuel Andrew Gray after their recent marriage at the
Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach. Parents of the newlyweds are
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Davidson of Detroit and Miami Beach and
Dr. and Mrs. H. William Gray of Miami Beach.

with a workers breakfast meeting

Max Stollman are co-chirmen of
the Women's Division.
The main purpose of the meet-
ing is to plan and prepare for the

Israel Bond Women's Division
who will direct activities for the
Dior-Israel Fashion Festival Din-
ner-Dance which will be held on
the evening of Sept. 26 at the
Knollwood Country Club.
Mrs. Frank. who has been as-
sociated with Israel Bonds for
several years. has come to De-
troit to work with the Detroit
Women's Division in the current
campaign.

cards will be distributed on this
occasion.
Morris Rogoff Heads
Pharmacy Exhibit at
Michigan State Fair
Morris Rogoff. 18959 Burt. is
directing the "Careers in Phar-
macy" exhibit sponsored by the
Michigan State Pharmaceutical
Association at the Michigan State
Fair, Aug. 24 to Sept. 3.
Rogoff, a graduate of the
Wayne State University College
of Pharmacy, is chief pharmacist
at the Lakeside General Hospital
and president of the Michigan
Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
Others assisting him include
Sy Neuman, Jack P. Kutnick,
Nathan Moiseev, Dr. William
Blockstein and Nathan Pack.

LAMB CHOPS IN GINGER SAUCE
6 portions of lamb chops
I cup chicken soup
I 6-oz. can frozen orange
juice concentrate
1 teaspoon salt
I tablespoon minced onion
1 medium clove garlic, minced
I teaspoon ground ginger
1 2 teaspoon marjoram
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Either shoulder or rib chops cut
about an inch thick can be used.
Remove excess fat and score the
meat slightly about every inch along
the fat edge. Combine 3 4 cup of the
soup, the undiluted orange juice
concentrate, salt, onion. garlic.
ginger, and marjoram. Brush the
chops on both sides with this mix-
ture. Broil until as well-done as
desired. Meanwhile, dissolve the
cornstarch in the remaining chicken
soup, then stir this into the rest of
the sauce. Place in a small saucepan
and stir over medium heat until
thickened, then simmer until the
chops are ready. Place the meat on
a plater, and either cover with the
sauce. or pass it separately. This
amount serves 6.
LAMB CHOPS WITH MINTED
FRUIT SAUCE
5 portions of lamb chops
1 No. 303 can fruit cocktail
1 .4 cup white vinegar
iii teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons mint jelly
1 kosher chicken , bouillon cube
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Use shoulder or rib chops cut at
least one inch thick. Remove excess
fat and sore the meat slightly

Broil until as well-done as desired.
Meanwhile drain the fruit cocktail
thoroughly. Measure i,z cup of the
syrup and place it in a small sauce-
pan with the vinegar, ivrlic powder,
mint jelly, and bouillon cube. Bring
to a boil, then simmer 5 minutes.
Dissolve the cornstarch in the water,
add to the sauce, and stir over low
heat for 5 minutes. Add the fruit
and heat thoroughly. Place the
chops on a platter. and pour the
sauce over them. If preferred, the
sauce may be served separately. This
amount serves 5.
