116,646 Israel Tourists
in First Seven Months is

17 Percent Boost Over 1961

With the report that 28.000
persons visited Israel during
July the total number of tour-
ists for the first seven months
of 1962 rose to 116.646. The
total figure represents a 17 per-
cent increase in the number of
visitors to Israel during the
January-July period as com-
pared to 99,208 tourists for a
similar period last year.

The small, reborn Jewish na-
tion of 650.000 was able to stand
against and defeat 32 million of
five Arab states. It wasn't a
new miracle. It was the continu-
ing miracle of our existence
throughout history.
