M-Sgt. William M. Isenberg performs his last function — that
if checking in his pistol — as a member of the U.S. Army
Reserve Corps. He is being congratulated upon retirement
after 20 years of service by Lt. Col. Stanley P. Sax. Isenberg,
a field investigator with the Michigan Employment Security
Commission, became federal agent in 1935. During World
War I/ he served in counter-intelligence in the European
Theater, and was instrumental in breaking up black market
operations in Europe after the war. He has been awarded a
life membership in the National Counter-Intelligence Corps
Association. Isenberg and his wife (nee Sarah Fishman) live
at 19443 St. Francis, Livonia.
