School Inspector
Cincinnati UJA
in Germany Found to Be Aims for $7 Million
CINCINNATI, (JTA) —
Author of Hate Novel

WIESBADEN, (JTA) — A
school inspector named Her-
trich, who has conducted a
number of tours to Israel for
German school teachers, had
been the author of an anti-
Semitic book during the Hitler
period, according to charges
made yesterday in the Hesse
Parliament, here, by represen-
tatives of the Free Democratic
Party.
According to the charges, the
man's anti-Semitic book had
quoted from "Der Stuermer,"
the notoriously rabid anti-
Semitic journal published dur-
ing the Nazi years by Julius
Streicher, and carried a preface
written by Streicher.
The Hesse Minister of Edu-
cation was requested to tell
parliament whether his Ministry
knew of Hertrich's alleged
Nazi background. The F.D.P.
representatives said that Israel
authorities recently obtained a
copy of Hertrich's book.
