The Golden Age Choral Group of the Jewish Community Center, under the direction of Can-
tor Nicholas Fenakel of Adas Shalom, will lead in the singing of the American and Israeli National
Anthems at the Israel 14th anniversary dinner, with Eleanor Roosevelt as guest of honor, Thursday
evening, in Cobo Hall. All members of the choral group are over 60. The oldest is 86. It is recognized
as one of the best Golden Age choral groups in the nation and has sung in Cleveland, Flint,
Windsor, on TV and before various groups here, including Bnai Brith and National Council of
Jewish Women and with the Adas Shalom Symphony.
