United Synagogue
Launches Foresters'
JNF Forest Village

At a ceremony at the site of
the Jewish National Fund's
Freedom Forest, in the vicinity
of Bethar, Israel, attended by
hundreds of delegates from all
over the world, the United Syn-
agogue of America launched a
Foresters' Village.
The delegates, representing
21 countries, are attending the
biennial World Convention of
the United Synagogue.
Joseph Weitz, head of the Is-
rael Land Authority, in his ad-
dress, predicted a great future
for the American Freedom Fir-
est and the Foresters' Village as
the focal point for American-Is-
rael friendship.
