With Honor Society

Forty-three years after he
had earned his B.S. degree
from the University of Detroit,
Milton Bernstein was honored
Thursday night, in a ceremony
at Fox and Hounds Restaurant,

by being initiated into Alpha
Xi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi
Honor Society of the U. of D.
Bernstein, senior partner in
the CPA firm of Bernstein,
Bernstein and Wile, which
operates offices in Detroit,
Lansing and Cleveland, re-
ceived his B.S. in 1919. He has
been active in accountancy
since that time.
U. of D authorities, inform-
ing him about the honor to be
accorded him last night. stated
that it was "long overdue:
The Bernsteins established
two Bernstein and Bernstein
Accountancy Awards at the U.
of D. They are giVen in Janu-
ary and June of each year.
Bernstein organized the Phi
Sigma Delta fraternity at the
U. of D. in 1954. He is an
active member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek, Bnai Brith,
Yeshivath Beth Yehudah, the
Zionist Organization and other
movements, and has been active
in Allied Jewish Campaigns.

iors will be awarded Junior Phi
Beta Kappa certificates in May.
