Joseph Thumin, Dean of Rabbis
in Service, Age, Dies at 89

and age. died April 13 at 89.
Rabbi Thumin came to Beth
Abraham Synagogue in 1914 and
Ferved actively there until his re-
tirement 10 years ago. Until the
time of his death. he was rabbi
cmeritus:of the Congregation. For
many years he was president of
,1-1* 'Council Of Orthodox Rabbis
in Detroit.
