and was the first to accuse
Azef. It enraged the group and
they refused to believe it, but
before very long the despicable
character was exposed. Azef
managed to escape, but his pro-
vocations finally ended.
Among the interesting

was Dora Brilliant. She left
a devoutly Jewish home to
join the ranks of the fighters
for freedom and met a tragic
death after several years of
devotion to her chosen cause.
