German Prosecutor Seeks Evidence of Arrested Camp Leaders COLOGNE. (JTA) — T h e West German prosecutor issued an appeal to former inmates at the Buchenwald concentration camp to renort whatever evi- dence they might possess against any or all of 16 former top Buchenwald staff members sus- pected of having been impli- cated in the murder of Buchen- wald inmates. All 16 had previously been sentenced by an American tri- bunal. which had tried them in 1947 for crimes against foreign nationals. Information is to be ad- dressed to the Landsgericht, Justizgebauede, Appelhofplatz, Cologne. and is to use the refer- ence number "24-Js-54061-Z." The suspects are Wolfgang Otto. Otto Barnewald, Prince Josias zu Waldeck, August Ben- der, Anton Bergmeister, Arthur Diersch, Hans Eisele, Philip Grimm. Heinrich Roscher, Gus- tav Ileigel, Peter Merker, Guido Reimer.
