Detroiters Attend California Rites MRS. MAURICE ZORMAN Rosalie Nachwalter and Mau- rice Zorman were wed Feb. 25 in a ceremony performed by Rabbi Jacob Pressman at Temple Beth Am in the metro- politan area of Los Angeles, Calif. The bride. is the daughter of Mrs. Jacob Nachwalter, 224 S. Hamel, Beverly Hills, Calif. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Zormaia, 1445 N. Bronson, Hollywood, Calif. The bride wore a white satin gown from the House of Bian- chi, with a bell-shaped skirt and watteau train . Mrs. Esther Mueller, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Bever- ly Weinstein, Mrs. Sally Gold- berg and Frances Weintraub. Shelly Bubman was flower girl. Michael Mueller was ring-bear- er. Gerry Mueller. the ,bride- groom's brother-in-law, was best man. Ushers were Ronald Gold, Leon Goldberg and Melvyn Aratin. The bride attended Santa Monica City College and the Lawton School for Dental As- sistants. They will reside in Beverly Hills. Interfraternity Dental Workshop Meets in Detroit The American Dental Inter- fraternity. Council will combine its first workshop with a coun- cil meeting Saturday and Sun- day at the Statler-Hilton Hotel. The importance of professional fraternities in dental schools will be discussed. National presidents and other delegates of the four member fraternities, Alpha Omega, Del- ta Sigma Delta, Psi Omega and Xi Psi Phi, will participate in the various sessions. The com- bined memberships of these fraternities numbers almost 100,000. Dr. Louis Galin of Detroit is president of the A.D.I.C. and is a past national president of Alpha Omega. Dr. Walter Levine of Baltimore, national president of Alpha Omega, and Dr. Irving Goldstein of Atlanta, Ga., public relations chairman of the A.D.I.F. Council, will attend the meeting. FEINBERG Charles E. Feinberg, interna- tionally known book collector and authority on Walt Whitman, will speak on "Adventures in Book Collecting" at a free public meeting Thursday, at 8 p.m., sponsored by the Friends of the Detroit Public Library, at the Main Library. Feinberg's own priceless col- lection of books, manuscripts, personal papers and other mem- entos of the celebrated Amer- ican poet, Walt Whitman, was 45 years in the making. In 1955, on the occasion of the 100th an- niversary of the printing of Whit- man's "Leaves of Grass," the Detroit Public Library housed a major exhibition of 387 items from the Feinberg Whitman col- lection. In the summer of 1961, Feinberg, at the invitation of the U. S. State Department, tra- veled abroad to make arrange- ments for exhibits and lectures on Whitman in Paris, London, Rome, Jerusalem, and other world centers. In addition to "Whitmaniana," Feinberg has important collect- ions of Ernest Hemingway, Rob- ert Frost, and William Faulkner, and other interesting and un- usual first editions of books.
