it intends to purchase $200,000
worth of the United Nations
bond iss•ie.
The notification came in the
form of information given to

Thant by Michael S. Comay,
Israel's permanent representa-
tive here. Thant expressed his
appreciation to the Government
of Israel "for this gesture of
support for the UN."
