Aaron Stollman Dies

Aaron Stollman, member of
one of Detroit's most prominent
Jewish families, died March 14.
Mr. Stollman, 13520 Burton,
Oak Park, was 63. He was asso-
ciated with the Biltmore Build-
ing Company, and was a member
of Cong. Mishkan Israel, Cong.
Beth Joseph, Young Israel of
Northwest Detroit, Mizrachi and
the Hebrew Benevolent Society.
Surviving are his wife, Lily;
two sons, Hyman and Roger; a
daughter, Mrs. Jack Moskowitz;
four brothers, Rabbi Isaac,
Samuel, Max and Philip; and
seven 11 - 1

Aaron Rosenberg, 75, of 15344
Greenfield, died Wednesday in
Tuscon, Arizona.
Mr. Rosenberg was founder of
the Friendship Building Sup-
plies Co. and Friendship
Materials, Inc. He was born in
Keshenev, Russia and came to
Detroit in 1911. -

berg have ben founded in Israel
by the Jewish National Fund,
purchased through the sale of
Detroit-area land he donated to
that organization. Mr. Rosenberg
was a member of the Keshenever
Bessarabier Society for 32 years
and also belonged to the Odessa
Progessive Aid Society.
Surviving are his wife. Ida;
five sons, Jack. Lester. Nat. Al
and Edward and 12 grand-
children.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. today at the Kaufman
Chapel.

MiltOn Dreyfus Dies;
Wai Hospital Leader

Milton D. Dreyfus. first vice
president of the National Chil-
dren's Cardiac Hospital in Mi-
ami Beach, died March 7 in
that city.
He was also a member of the
board of governors and chair-
man of. the executive steering
committee of the hospital which
is dedicated to the care of child
victims of rheumatic fever and
congenital heart disease. Drey-
fus was well-known throughout
the east and south for his work
in forming women's chapters in
various cities to aid the hospital.

Member, Altabev, Dies

ISTANBUL, (JTA)—Isaac Al-
tabev, 67, a former member of
the Turkish parliament who was
among those arrested after the
coup which toppled the Men-
deres government, died ;I e r e
March 8.
He was released from prison
last month after suffering a
cerebral thrombosis.
An Istanbul merchant before
being elected to parliament, be
had been sentenced to four years
imprisonment on charges of vio-
lating the constitution. a general
charge filed against many of
those who were arrested after
the coup. He was an active Jew-
ish communal leader.
