$100,000 to JNF
CHICAGO, (JTA) — Samuel
Krupkin, an obscure druggist,
who lived in a small one-room
apartment near his store, be-
queathed the major portion of
his estate, amounting to more
than $175,000, to the Jewish
National Fund, it was reported
by the Sentinel.
- According to the - terms of
Krupkin's will, JNF was to re-
ceive two-thirds of the remain-
der of his estate after bequests
amounting to $26,000 had been
paid to various charities. The
value of that portion of the
estate left to the JNF has been
estimated to total more than
$100,000 and may be more than
$140,000. Krupkin, who was
brought to this country when he
was a young child, had no
known relatives at the time of
his death.

been presented on 25 West Ger-
man stages.
