preached at St. Patrick's Cath-
edral in New York last week.

The chief rabbi of Romania,
Moses Rosen told an audience
of 150 Sunday night at Bnai
David Synagogue that the 180,-
000 Jews in Romania are per-
mitted to attend synagogues
and to send their children to
Talmud Torahs.

two-week stay in Israel and
then will return to Romania,
where his father and grand-
father were rabbis.
