Under the title, "Eat Kosher
—Keep Kosher," pr i z es are
being offered in two age cate-
gories: the junior division for
children ages 10-13, and the
senior division for students 14-
18 years of age.
There will be prizes offered
for essays, short stories or
poems on "Eat Kosher"—Keep
Kosher," and any phase of the
practice or purpose of Kashruth
in Jewish life is acceptable.
The entries should be turned
over to the school principle
before Feb. 28.
Saturday, Feb. 10, has been
named "Kashruth Observance
Sabbath" and all rabbis in the
area have been asked to dedi-
cate their sermons to the im-
portance of Kashruth in the
Jewish home and in Jewish
life.
Thursday, Feb. 15 will be
dedicated to "Kosher Food Ex-
hibit" at the Dexter Davison
Market in Oak Park. There will
be free kits given away all clay
at this e x h i b i t, containing
samples of kosher products of
local and national producers,
and there will be demonstra-
tions of kosher delicacies avail-
able as well as literature ex-
plaining the whys and where-
fores of Kashruth.

eral chairman of the "Kashruth
Campaign" on behalf of the
Great Lakes Branch of the
