This is the synagogue of the Hadassah-Hebrew Univers
Medical Center on the western outskirts of Jerusalem, whe
the stained glass windows Marc Chagall created for Hadassah
will be installed this month. Commissioned by Hadassah, the
windows depict the 12 tribes of Israel. In designing the one-
story structure, Joseph Neufeld, prominent American archi-
tect, took into account the fact that the synagogue will house
Chagall's works of art, which have been acclaimed universally
as the crowning achievement in the '74-year-old master's career.

Hadassah leaders from all

Commissioned by Hadassah,
