Commission to Provide
Leadership Training
A special program for training
young people to assume future
leadership . in the American
Jewish community will be de-
veloped at the second annual
national assembly of the Ameri-
can Zionist Youth Commission at
the Warwick Hotel, New York
City, Jan. 13 and 14, it was
announced by Mrs. Morris S.
Handler, of Jersey City, NJ.,
and Dr. Morton J. Robbins, of
Nashua, N.H. They are co-chair-
men of the American Zionist
Youth Commission, which spon-
sors Young Judea, the oldest and
largest Zionist youth organization
in America.
The American Zionist Youth
Commission is supported jointly
by Hadassah, the Women's Zion-
ist Organization of America, and
the Zionist Organization of
America. Mrs. Handler and Dr.
Robbins are national youth acti-
vities chairmen of their respec-
tive organizations.

JERUSALEM, (JTA)—Israel's
Cabinet decided to form a com-
mittee of Ministers to formulate
new regulations for the military
government in border areas popu-
lated by Arabs.
The debate on the issue was
launched at the Cabinet meeting
by Prime Minister David Ben-
Gurion, speaking as Minister of
Defense, and there was general
agreement that some of the regu-
lations could be relaxed where
the country's security was not in
danger.
