at two midnight buffet suppers in honor of their 12th anniversary.
Their guests included Dr. and Mrs. Philip Raznik, Dr. and Mrs.
Albert Globerman, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sherman, Mr. and Mrs.
William Letkofsky, Dr. and Mrs. Stanley H. Levy, Dr. and Mrs.
Stuart Barak and Dr. and Mrs. Henry Coffman.
The Bodzin Family Club will meet Jan. 13 at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Duchan, 19339 Mendota.
Cadet Ira Green is home for the holidays from Admiral
Farragut Military Academy in Florida, visiting with his family of
Ohio Ave.
Sheila Kent of Lauder Ave. will celebrate her "sweet sixteenth
birthday" at a luncheon in her honor at Northwood Inn.

Myers Cooper were united in
marriage Dec. 23 at the Stat.
ler-Hilton Hotel.
The newlyweds are the child-
ren of Mrs. Marjorie Hart and
Mr. and Mrs. David N. Cooper
of Fairfield Ave.
The bride wore a gown of
candle-light gros de londres
with a bateau neckline and an
empire bodice, three-quarter-
length sleeves and a victorian
skirt ending in a chapel train.
A short boufant veil was held
in place by a crown of seed
pearls and orange blossoms.
She tarried white eucharis
lilies.
Matron of ho,nor was Mrs.
Ted J. Simon. Best man was
Tom Ettlinger. Ushers were
Gerald Hart, Ted Simon, Fred
Keywell, Marvin Cherrin, Har-
old Provitzer, Tom Ryan, Paul
Meyer and Lawrence Levine.
Following a trip to Chicago,
the newlyweds will live in
Birmingham.

Theater, announces that "LES
LIAISONS DANGEREUSES"
will have its Detroit premier
opening at the Krim Theater
next Wednesday.
Roger Vadim's updated mod-
erndress film adaptation of the
classic novel, "LES LIAISONS'
DANGEREUSES,". proved to
be one of the most controversial
motion pictures in years. A
cause celebre in France since
1782, "Les Liaisons" has con-

Among the world's master vio-
linistsis ZINO FRANCESCATTI,
whose great art has been a major
glory of the American musical
scene for two decades. He will
present a concert at Detroit's
Masonic Auditorium Jan. 12.
Francescatti first came to this
country in November 1939, pre-
ceded by an already lustrous Eu-
ropean and South American rep-
utation, to make his debut with
the New York Philharmonic. He
has toured here every season
since then, appearing repeatedly
on every major concert course,
as soloist with all the top orches-
tras, and at the great summer
festivals.

CHANDRA S. JHA, head of
India's delegation to the United
Nations, will be the speaker, on
the subject "United Nations as a
World Force," at Detroit Town
Hall, Wednesday, 11 a.m., in the
Fisher Theater. Jha, whose lec-
ture will reopen the Town Hall
series after the holiday vacation
interruption, also is chairman of
the UN special fund to aid under-
developed countries and is first
vice-chairman of the UN Human
Rights Committee. He was for-
merly his country's Ambassador
to Turkey.
