Katchman-Reiter
Rites Solemnized

MRS. GERALD KATCHMAN
The marriage vows of Patricia
Ann Reiter and Gerald William
Katchman were solemnized Dec.
14 at the Whittier Hotel. Dr.
Richard C. Hertz officiated at
the candlelight ceremony.
Parents of the bridal couple
are Mr. and Mrs. Louis Reiter
of Littlefield Ave. and Mrs.
Nathan Katchman of Strath-
moor Ave. and the late Mr.
Katchman.
The bride chose a gown of
white peau de sore re-embroi-
dered with imported Alencon
lace. The gown had a sabrina
neckline, bodice trimmed with
pearls and sequins and long
sleeves.
Honor attendant was Judy
Cohen. Bridesmaids were Lana
Karbel and Natalie Block of
Chicago.
Best man was Al Br eye r.
Ushers were Al Hurwitz, Mich-
ael Reiter, brother of the bride;
and Jim Reiter of Ann Arbor,
cousin of the bride.
The couple departed for a
honeymoon in New York City
and will live on Manderson Rd.

Winning Team Selected
at Bridge Tournament

The Michigan Bridge Associa-
tion's annual contract bridge
"Knockout Team of Four" tour-
nament has selected the, team
that will represent Detroit at the
national tournament and at all
inter-city matches.
The team is composed of Dr.
William Greenburg, Irwin A.
Klar, Eugene A. Epstein, Her-
bert Ebner, Robert Schwartz and
Ronald Kottler.
Other major events included
the open pair, won by Ann Tau-
ber and her daughter Bee Meyer-
sohn, and the-men's pair, won by
S. Ray Jacobstein and William
Flashenberg. Audrey Melander
was a member of the winning
women's pair. •

the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to be sponsored by Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in honor of its centennial and of Jewish Music
Month. It will be held Jan. 28 in Ford Auditorium. Serving on the

Oscar Kramer, Michael Stashower, Wilbur Stein, Sam Aaron, Jack
