CASABLANCA, (JTA)—Abra-
ham Zagoury, a Jew who has
been government director of all
rabbinical courts in Morocco, was
removed from his post and re-
placed by a Moslem, according to
an official announcement.
The position requires the di-
rector of rabbinical courts to su-
pervise and inspect the work of
all Jewish religious tribunals,
including "matters of personal
status" like marriage and di-
