rael, died Tuesday at the age-
of 72. His late residence was at

at the new Kaufman Chapel on
W. 9 - Mile Road Wednesday
morning.
Surviving him are his wife,

Zola Rosenfeld Dies,
Jacobson's Executive
Funeral services were held
Tuesday for Zola Rosenfeld, 63,
executive vice president of Ja-
cobson's, Inc., operators of
stores in nine Michigan corn-
munites. Mr. Rosenfeld was
stricken in the headquarters
store in Jackson on Saturday
and died soon after.

He was a past president

Along with his brother
Nathan, he bought controlling
interest in Jacobson's, then a
three-city chain, iri 1941.
Born in Philadelphia and
graduated from the University
of Pennsylvania, he had been
general merchandising man-
ager of the Golden Rule stores
in St. Paul and assistant to the
president of Allied Stores in
New York before coming . to
Michigan.
Also surviving are his wife-,
Henriette;. a son, Richard; and a
daughter, Mrs. Louis Landman
(all of Jackson).
