Rabbi Honored at Book Fete

Community Organizations, Congregation Affiliates,
Social Groups Make Plans for Hanukah Celebrations

Community organizations,
congregation affiliates and so-
cial groups have announced
plans for Hanukah celebrations.

Rabbi Leonard B. Gewirtz, spiritual leader of Adas Ko-
desch Shel Emeth Congregation. of Wilmington, Delaware,
was honored at Jewish. Book Month Celebration in ,conjunc-
tion with publication of his recent book "The Authentic Jew
and His Judaism" (Bloch Publishing Co.). Dr. Solomon Grayzel,
noted historian, author, and editor of the Jewish Publication
Society of America, was the guest speaker. Theme: "The im-
age of the Jew in Contemporary American Literature." At
autograph party (right to left) : Solomon Kerstein, vice-presi-
dent and editor, Bloch Publishing Comliany, New York; and
Dr. Grayzel, presented with book by author, Rabbi Gewitrz,
and Gary Rosen, president of the congregation.
