Flint Celebrates
Bar Mitzvah of
Israel Saturday

Plans have been completed
for the program of the State of
Israel 13th Anniversary (Bar
Mitzvah) Dinner -Dance 7:15
p.m. Saturday in the main ball-
room of the Durant Hotel, Flint,
Dr. Sam Got-
lib, president,
announced. -
The affair is
sponsored by
the Flint Com-
mittee for
State of Israel
Bonds and will
the one of the
leading func-
tions of the
year for the
Greater Flint
Jewish Com-
munity.
U.S. Senator
Wayne Morse
Morse (D-Ore.) will
be guest speaker. Emil Cohen,
American-Jewish humorist, will
be guest star. Dancing will be
to the music of Charles Speight
and his orchestra.
Co-chairmen of the Flint Com-
mittee are Harry J. Binder and
Murray E. Moss. Norman Schafer
is the dinner arrangements
chairman.

Ladies of Yeshivath Beth Ye-
hudah will hold its 34th annual
donor luncheon Nov. 7 at Holiday
Manor, announces Mrs. Louis

the affair are
earmarked for
the Yeshivah's
scholarship

gram chairman.

Weintraub was best man. Ush-

Nate Greenberg. The couple
departed for a• New York
honeymoon. They now are re-
siding in Des Moines, Iowa,
where the bridegroom is con-
tinuing his studies at the Col-
lege of Osteopathic Medicine
and Surgery.
