Meeting Mon. Evening

A memorial Meeting _will be
conducted for the late Nathan
Levin, 8:30 p. m. Monday at
17556 Wyoming, under the
auspices of Berditchev-Keshenev
Aid Society.
One of the features of the
memorial program will be the
presentation of a certificate for a
garden of trees to the widow
and family of the late 'Nathan
Levin by Rabbi Joshua S.
Sperka, Jewish National Fund
Foundation director.
The garden was planted by
family, members of the society
and friends, and will be located
in the Detroit Landsmanshaften
section of the American Free-
dom Forest in Israel.

Building, Monday, Sir John Bag-
gott Glubb, the British Lieuten-
ant-General who was the corn-
mander of the Arab Legion in
the Jordanian-Israeli war for
Jerusalem in 1948, completely
ignored the Israel question.
In his last book, "A British
Soldier with the Arabs," he was
quite unfriendly to Israel. But in
his address here he was objec-
tive, 'dealing with Arab ideologi-
cal problems in relation to them-
selves, to the Soviet Union and
the Western powers.
Israeli questions were, how-
ever, posed during the discussion
period, which was conducted by
Allen B. Crow, president of the
club.
