in the Joint Distribution Com-
mittee and as a nationally
prominent lawyer, he has been
painting from his early youth.
Woolfenden pointed out that
Rosenberg first exhibited his
art works in 1911.
Rosenberg's works will con-
tinue on exhibition at the De-
troit Art Institute through
Oct. 29.
Proceeds from sales of his
paintings go to the Archives of
American Art, to assure con-
tinuation of a program of re-
search into the history of art
and artists in this country.
