Beth Aaron's Youth
Marks Identification
with Israel Statehood

The boys of Beth Aaron who
observed their Bar Mitzvah at
the synagogue during the past
year and the girls who were
graduated from its religious
school will be officially identi-
fied with Israel's Bar Mitzvah
Year at the synagogue's first
late Friday evening service 8:30
p.m. Oct. 27.
Rabbi Benjamin H. Gorrelick
will conduct the service and
preach on "Bar Mitzvah—Indi-
vidual and National" Cantor
Jacob Tambor will chant the
ritual and lead in the congre-
gational singing. Young people
will participate in the service.
The major feature of the
service will be the presentation
of Bar Mitzvah certificates
through the courtesy of the
Jewish National Fund. The pre.
sentatibn will be made by Jo-
seph Lovy, president of Beth
Aaron, and Morris Brandwine,
president of Detroit Council
Jewish National Fund.
The social hour will be in the
form of a surprise at which a
token of appreciation will be
presented by Mrs. Albert Kap-
lan, chairman of the Syna-
gogue's Youth Commission, to
one of its leaders.
