Israeli Folksingers
Ben and Adam Ending
Appearance at Galerie

Nearing completion at Cafe
Galerie of a worldwide tour of
concert and club performances,
Israeli folksingers Ben and Adam
might not be the celebreties they
are today were it not for a
chance meeting at a party in
Jerusalem.
That chemistry which unites
a pair of fine voices into a
blend of professional impact
occurred four years ago.
Both were singing "just for
fun" for friends when they first
met. Their friends saw that
"chemistry" take place and urged
the pair to work as a team pro-
fessionally.
Within four months, Ben and
Adam were billed as the top
entertainers in Israel. Calling
themselves the "Dudaim," they
sing songs in a number of lan-
guages, four of which they speak
fluently. Their burlesque of an
American rock 'n' roll number,
"Little Darlin'," is especially
worth hearing . . . and watching.
The Dudaim will be at Cafe
Galerie, 19940 Livernois, through
Tuesday.
