Training Course Session Monday Troth Announced

The Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation will
hold the first session of its
Leadership Training Course
Monday, announces Mrs. Philip
R. Marcuse, president.
More than 30 women will
attend the first session, to be
held at the Jewish Family and
Children's Service, 10801 Curtis.
Mrs. Daniel E. Cohn is chair-
man, and Mrs. Melvin Kolbert
is co-chairman of the course.
At the first meeting, the
group will hear talks by Wil-
liam Avrunin, associate director
of the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion; Sheldon Siegel, supervisor,'
department of aging of the Jew-
ish Family and Children's Ser-
vice, and Irwin Shaw, director

This four-week Leadership
Training Course attempts to
provide the women with an un-
derstanding of the Federation
and the community. All sessions
are held on Mondays, and each
session will be held at a differ-
ent Federation member agency.
Assisting Mesdames Cohn and
Kolbert are the following com-
mittee: Mesdames Charles
Abramson, Milton L. Berry, Au-
brey Goldman, David Keats,
Milton L u-e o w, Norman H.
Rosenfeld, Michael W a r t e 1 1,
Arnold Winshall and Jacob Al-
spector. Mrs. Morris J. Brand-
wine is vice-president of the
