Clergyman; Testified
at Eichmann's Trial

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Dean
Heinrich Gruber, the 'West Ger-
man Evangelical leader who
testified here several months
ago during the Adolf EiGhmann
trial, will be honored here by a
special "Heinrich Gruber Forest"
to be planted by the Jewish
National Fund.
The German anti-Nazi has been
invited to come to Israel to help
dedicate the forest on his 70th
birthday, next month.

The month of October will wit-
ness scores of dinners and other
events throughout the United
States and Canada dedicated to
the 75th birthday of Prime Min-
ister David Ben-Gurion of Israel,
it was announced by Dr. JOseph
J. Schwartz, vice president of the
Israel Bond Organization.
Ben-Gurion's birthday occurred
on the third day of the festival
of Sukkot, Sept. 27. However, in
1886, the year of his birth, the
Gregorian calendar date was
Oct. 16.
