The Rosner Family. Club will meet Sunday at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Herbert Rosner, 13841 Sylvan, Oak Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Isadore (Sarah) Levin have returned to Detroit,
where they had resided for 44 years before moving to California last
-year. Their last address here was 17579 Cherrylawn.
Rabbi Jay Kaufman, executive vice president of the Union of
American Hebrew congregations, will deliver the sermon at the
Sabbath Eve services at Temple Israel tonight. Rabbi Kaufman, who
has been spending a Sabbatical year in Israel, came to Detroit in-
order to attend the Bar Mitzvah celebration of his nephew, Jerome,
son of Mr. •and Mrs. Albert Kaufman. Rabbi Kaufman is a former
Detroiter. After the Bar Mitzvah, he will fly back to Israel.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Margolis and -daughter, Judy, former
Detroiters, now of Tucson, Arizona, are here visiting with relatives
and friends, and to attend the marriage of their cousin, Marjorie
E. Margolis, to Dr. Irwin F. Pavorsky, of Philadelphia. They are
guests of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron B. Margoli,
20250 St. Marys. -
Mr. and Mrs. Monte Jay Nagler (Susan Simons) returned from
their honeymoon in Northern Michigan and are making their home
'n Ann Arbor, where they resumed their studies at the University
Michigan. Their marriage took place Sept. 3 at the Sheraton
dillac hotel here, Dr. Richard C. Hertz and. Rabbi Minard Klein
'elating. The parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Simons of Parkside Ave., Detroit, and Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Nagler
Ann Arbor.
