Buys Rabbinic Collection The Wayne State University Library has recently purchased the rabbinic collection of Rabbi Kancepolsky, a Brooklyn scholar about to settle in Israel. This private library, built up over a number of years, consists of nearly 600 volumes of Tal- mudic commentaries, responsa, and codes, including rare old works and first editions. Its purchase was made possible by funds provided by the Kasle Foundation, and appears to mark the first time that a collection of this type has been brought to the Detroit area for public use. 1 A.. ice-Pres.
