Ben-Gurion's Mapai Party Seeks Partners
in New Coalition; Liberals Reject Herut

JERUSALEM — The Secre-

Palestine Conciliation Commis-

U.S. Expert Will Aid
in Israel's Social Work

UNITED NATIONS, N.Y.
(JTA)—A. C. Abrahamson, as-
sociate professor of social work
at the University of Washing-
ton at Seattle, has been assign-
ed by the United Nations to
assist Israel in the establish-
ment of an in-service and on-
the-job training program for
all levels of social welfare per-
sonnel in Israel, it was an-
nounced here by the United Na-
tions Technical Assistance pro-
gram.
