nounces registration for its new
real estate course will be held
Sept. 11-14 (as well as other
classes) with the first session
scheduled for Sept. 18.
The purpose of the course is
to provide an understanding of
the regulations governing real
estate transactions and to pre-
pare individuals for the state
examination for a salesman's
license, according to N. Burk-
hardt, Evening School principal.
The course will be taught by
Marshall Millar, real estate
salesman and former teacher.
Included will be a series of
lectures by experts in real es-
tate law. Topics will include
"Title Insurance and Abstracts,"
"Appraisals and Listings," "The
Closing of a Deal' and others.
Classes for the 12-week course
will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednes-
days.
Other courses to be offered
are knitting, gourmet cooking,
painting, furniture m a k in g,
music, photography and musical
instruments. Mumford also has
a complete elementary and sec-
ondary school program, offer-
ing a diploma in each.
