Dr. and Mrs. Louis Kazdan, of Oak Park, and Dr. and Mrs. Myer Teitelbaum, of Detroit, visited the new •Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center during their stay in Jerusalem, where they attended the 5th World Assembly of the Israel Medical Association as members of the American Physicians' Fellowship delegation. • Mr. and Mrs. Sam Katkin will host a pre-High Holy Day reception on behalf of Congregation Adas Shalom at their home, 1441 Balmoral Drive, at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, in honor of Dr. Judd L. Teller, noted author. The reception is for Adas Shalom members. Prof. and Mrs. Samuel M. Levin and their granddaughter, Joan Friedman, have left for a tour of Israel. Mr. and Mrs. Morris L. Schaver have left for a visit in ISrael, where they will join their son, Itzhak, who has been active as an assistant in archaeological enterprises there for the past two months. Itzhak is returning to Detroit next week to enter Wayne State University, and his parents will go on to European countries, including Poland, where Mrs. Schaver is scheduled to appear in a number of concerts. While in Israel, the Schavers will attend the first Israel conference of the board of the American-Israel Cultural Foundation, of which Mr. Schaver is a member, and they will participate in the Israel Festival of Music and the opening of the Pablo Casals International Vibloncello Competition.
