and its affiliates will sponsor
the first of the congregation's
"Presidential Toast to Israel"
dinners on Sept: 5, in the Ahavas
Achim Social Hall.
The present presidents and
all living past presidents of the
congregation and its affiliates
will be honored at the dinner,
to be held on behalf of Israel
Bonds, in advance of the an-
nual High Holy Day Appeal.
Leaders of the • congregation
to be honored include: Abe
Friedman, president; Albert
Burke, Peter Chodoroff, Jonas
Dworin, Isadore Leeman and
Dr. Israel Wiener, past presi-
dents. ,
The guest star will be Emil
Cohen, humorist, raconteur and
vocalist.
