in Israel" — "Toldot HaPhil-
osophie b'Israel" — by the late
Prof. David Neumark of Hebrew
Union College, originally pub-
lished in 1929, is now being
distributed by University Pub-
lishers, 59 E. 54th St., New
York 22.
The volume. in Hebrew, was
printed by the Jewish Publica-
tion Society Press for the
Alumni Association of Hebrew
Union College.
The great personalities and
their works with whom Prof.
Neumark dealt in his book in-
clude: Saadia Gaon, Ibn Ezra,
Ibn Gabirol, Even Zadik, Bar
Chaya, Maimuni and others.
This work is to this day one
of the great studies of medieval
philosophers and their contri-
butions to philosophy.
