Jurists Seek to End
Italian Fascist Body

FLORENCE, (JTA)—A resolu-
tion . supporting a bill pending in
parliament for the last year, call-
ing for the dissolution of the neo-
fascist Movimento Sociale Itali-
ans, was adopted at a meeting
called to analyze the resurgence
of fascist movements in Italy.
Mayor . Giorgio La Pira • was
chairman of the meeting, which
was attended by a number of
magistrates, other jurists, mem-
bers of parliament and members
of university faculties. The bill,
introduced by Sen. Ferruccio
Parri, calls for dissolution of the
neo-fascist movement on the
grounds that it violates the Italian
Constitution which prohibits "the
reorganization of the disbanded
Fascist Party in any form."

TEL AVIV, (J
— A pink
marble statue of C)
cient Greek so-called
Gods," has been uncovered in
the great amphitheater at Caesa-
rea, the Roman capital of Judea,
it was announced by Dr. Maria
Teresa Fortuna, acting head of an
Italian archaeological expedition
which has just concluded three
seasons of digging at the location.
The statue, headless, is three
feet in height. It appears to date
back to the third century before
the Christian Era.
According to the scientists, the

diggings at Caesarea promise to
yield other rich finds, including
intact buildings dating to the
Roman era and to the period of
the Christian crusades in Pales-
tine.
