The Fresh Air Camp, located at _Brighton, Mich., was
constructed in 1925. The interior - of the buildings was never
painted and the dark looking wood was in need of brightening.
When this situation was brought• to the attention of the mem-
bers of the Painter District Council No. 22 and Wayne Associa-
tion of Painters and Decorators Corporation of America, mem-
bers volunteered the manpower to paint the interiors of the
buildings. Shown above, left to right, selecting the color of
paint to be used are: Irving Bronson, Painters District Council
No. 22; Irvin Hermanoff, Fresh Air Society; Max Weisman,
president and Sam Kosoff, secretary of Wayne Association of
Painters and Decorators Corporation of America.

`A Contagious Bit of Dust'
Editor, The Jewish News:
When it comes to the Ameri-
can Nazi Party, Columnist Segal
is liberal and overconfident.
It's true that Rockwell is a
small guy now, but so was Hit-
ler when he started and then
most of the German Jews didn't
believe that he would expand
to such an extent. -
Even when he came to power,
many German Jews tried to con-
sole themselves by saying that
Hitler is only against the East-
ern Jews.
The "to ignore Nazis" policy
by the Jewish leadership is too
risky, because hate is contagious
and it spreads over the United
States as well as abroad.
It is painful for the 5,000.000
American Jews to bear a re-
birth of Nazis, 16 years after
their defeat.
Ironically this happens in the
United States, a country that
claims . leadership of the free
world:•
-
This hate- cancer must be
stopped now, before it gets out
of hand, by our lawmakers.
• It doesn't seem that Rockwell
haS. any intention to give up
his -damaging fight against the
Jewish people, so unless he is
stopped now, he'll spread his
poisonous anti-Semitism further
and further.
