Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lawson (Marcia Lipson) and daughters
Wendy, Susan and Terry have moved from St. Clair Shores to San
Diego, Calif., where Mr. Lawson will join the General Dynamics
Astronautics Corp. To welcome the family in California will be both
sets of parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lipson and Mr. and Mrs. Murray
Levine, all former Detroiters now living in Los Angeles.
Rabbi Emanuel Applebaum, principal of the Adas Shalom
branch of the United Hebrew Schools, has left for a month's
stay in Israel, where he will participate in the deliberations of
the World Congress of the Jewish Social Studies, in Jerusalem.
He also will meet with leaders of the Israeli school system and
visit schools. Rabbi Applebaum will stay at the home of his
parents, Dr. and Mrs. Litman Applebaum, formerly of the United
States and now of Raanana, Israel.
Gussin Family Club will hold its annual picnic Sunday at
Woodhull Lake.
Pfc. William Allan Eisner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip A.
Eisner of Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, is home on a 30-day leave
from his post with the 3rd Armored Medical Co. in Nuremberg,
Germany.
