A vice-president and member of the board of the Federation of Jewish Charities here, Borowsky also was a member of the na- tional campaign cabinet of the United Jewish Appeal, and chair- man of the 1961 conference of the UJA Mid-Atlantic Region. He participated in a number of UJA study missions to Israel. He was a past president of the American Technion Society and a member of the board of the Albert Einstein Medical Center here.
